Everyone is all eyes!
It was a stare-down!
Cute photos. Goes on here, too. :)
And look, Deb! I got a cat-window shot! :)
You must have very clean windows - I never see a spot!
lol....the window is open! Although...I clean that one all the time since it's the one I take photos through.
Ha! Well I guess that's why! Laughing. I just assumed if the window was open Marmalade would be through it in seconds. Too funny. But yes, I notice all the time that there are no streaks. Have to keep it photo-ready!
In contrast, and by coincidence, I had the paper towels and Windex out right now...was just going to clean Alex's face and hand prints off the back door. lol....it's been there a week and every morning the sun shines, illuminating it. When the sun moves, I don't notice it. And every morning, while I'm getting the boys ready, I say to myself how I MUST clean that door! Today is the day. ha.
I use microfibre cloths now too - totally amazing. Also, I was just noticing how beautifully the squirrel's colouring melds into the branch colours. I love Mother Nature!
It's good to know they work so well!Yep, that squirrel is perfectly camouflaged, isn't he?
That's pretty funny- were they checking each other out? And which pretty fur-baby is that? I'm not sure if I've seen him/her!
That is Marmalade. He's one of the first litter a stray mama had in our yard 3 years ago.
He is such a cutie!
He's the only ginger! ha.
I like your house; cats, squirrels, birds, and boys.My daughter would sell you some very nice microfiber cloths so that you never again have to buy paper towels to clean your windows.:0)
Would she? I would most certainly buy them!
Adorable photography ~ love the kitty in the window ~ Happy Week ~ thanks, ^_^artmusedog and carol (A Creative Harbor)
Thank you, Carol! It seems there is always a kitty or two looking out that window! :)
Cats and oil lamps don't mix. Well, they do sometimes, but one of them gets knocked onto the floor and smashed ! Just saying. . . . . If Ginger Cat and Cyril Squirrel swapped places, methinks the fur and hair would fly in your kitchen ! And an oil lamp would possibly get get broken.
I love Marmalade's white wellington boots.
Ha! He does look like he is wearing wellies!
ha! I'll think of that now every time I look at him. Marmy's Wellies! I know you're concerned about my lamp, Keith, but really, my house is full of fragile things and I haven't had a cat break something yet. Well, I take that back. Jack broke a drinking glass once. ha. But nothing of value. There's usually a couple of cats sleeping by that lamp, too.. Maybe they are guarding it for me. :)
Marmalade look really funny looking by the window:)Here's raining a lot today.xo
We had down pours last night and then bad storms coming tonight! I'm surprised your rain isn't snow!
I think in the mountains is snowing is really cold today!
Ah, I love your mountains!
Marmalade is so sweet looking. Cute stare down!
He's a good cat. Probably our largest!
Loved the two perspectives: inside looking out and outside looking in.He really looks like marmalade doesn't he?And great shots tooAre you using your new camera exclusively now? :)
It's quite a feminine name, though isn't it? haha. Don't tell him. He doesn't know. I named him before I knew what sex he was and didn't even know he would be staying! Yes, I always use the new camera now, except for photographing the moon. The old one does better!
Funny it someone called him my little kitten when he was younger :)
and never the two shall meet, we hope!
Yes, we hope! Last winter they had just the tail of a squirrel on the porch and thought it was the neatest toy in the world. Ew.
Such cute pictures!
Marmy sure was intent! haha.
Don't you just love taking pictures........Me too!Great shots...Cheers!Linda :o)

Yes, our chicken will be leftovers, too! Yum!
Adorable comparison. They make such a cute pairing.
Thanks, Hilary. It was fun to watch, that's for sure. :)
each one daring the other to move...ha...i wonder if the squirrel realizes the glass is there...or if his heart is bumping pretty good...
He acted more curious than scared, actually. We haven't seen a squirrel here in quite a while! I think news travels that it's a dangerous spot for critters. ha.
Nice pictures. That cat is very pretty.Colleges in Houston
